Stamping with Amy Live - Easter Treat Boxes
Man Card Monday

Man Card Monday

Happy Monday!  I don't know about where you are, but here it's Spring Break!  Hooray!  That doesn't mean too much for me, since my kids are all grown and I'm not a teacher, except my baby girl, who is in college, is home for the week!  So, I'm not doing too much work this week while she's home, because I want to play.

BUT... I do have a card to share with you today - a man card!  Now, this was my husband's idea.  He's been on me for months to  have a weekly post and video that's called Man Card Monday, because he's always wanting me to make more masculine cards.  I must admit, they're not my favorite to make, but they are necessary!  When I need a masculine card, I always have to dig and dig for one, or just break down a make one really quickly.

Here's one we made last month as part of my Birthday Card Class.  As far as masculine stuff goes, I really do love the Truly Tailored Suite in the Occasions Catalog!

Truly Tailored

This one uses nearly everything in that suite.  The stamp set, the dsp, the buttons, the corduroy trim (LOVE!)... oh, and the punch!  All such fun stuff!

And, this card was pretty much CASE'd from the Occasions Catalog.  Look on that page and you'll see a nearly identical card!  The catalogs are a great place to find inspiration!

If you want to see how I made this card, join me on my Joyful Stampers fb page today.  I'm going to pop on in a little while and demonstrate making this fun card.  Haven't joined that FB group yet?  Please do!  It's open to everyone and if you join by tomorrow, March 13, you'll be entered into a drawing for a FREE stamp set of your choice!  (US only to win the drawing - but you're still welcome to join!)
