It's Monday again, so I've got a fun masculine card to share with you.

Wood dsp Man card

I love the look of the Wood Textures dsp colored!  Want to know how easy it is to do this?  Join me on my Joyful Stampers Facebook group at 2pm cst today and I'll show you how to make this fun card.  If you can't join me live, it'll be posted on my group page.  Everyone is welcome in this group, so be sure and join!

Also, if you are attending my March Birthday Card Class, this is one of the cards you'll get to make!  This class is available in person or by mail and there's still a little time to register (registration closes tomorrow, March 20).  You can register here.

Don't forget we are down to the last 2 weeks of Sale-a-Bration!  Be sure and get your freebies while you can!

Have a great day!

Man Card Monday

Happy Monday!  I don't know about where you are, but here it's Spring Break!  Hooray!  That doesn't mean too much for me, since my kids are all grown and I'm not a teacher, except my baby girl, who is in college, is home for the week!  So, I'm not doing too much work this week while she's home, because I want to play.

BUT... I do have a card to share with you today - a man card!  Now, this was my husband's idea.  He's been on me for months to  have a weekly post and video that's called Man Card Monday, because he's always wanting me to make more masculine cards.  I must admit, they're not my favorite to make, but they are necessary!  When I need a masculine card, I always have to dig and dig for one, or just break down a make one really quickly.

Here's one we made last month as part of my Birthday Card Class.  As far as masculine stuff goes, I really do love the Truly Tailored Suite in the Occasions Catalog!

Truly Tailored

This one uses nearly everything in that suite.  The stamp set, the dsp, the buttons, the corduroy trim (LOVE!)... oh, and the punch!  All such fun stuff!

And, this card was pretty much CASE'd from the Occasions Catalog.  Look on that page and you'll see a nearly identical card!  The catalogs are a great place to find inspiration!

If you want to see how I made this card, join me on my Joyful Stampers fb page today.  I'm going to pop on in a little while and demonstrate making this fun card.  Haven't joined that FB group yet?  Please do!  It's open to everyone and if you join by tomorrow, March 13, you'll be entered into a drawing for a FREE stamp set of your choice!  (US only to win the drawing - but you're still welcome to join!)

Sneak Peek - New Occasions Catalog starts this week!

Happy New Year!

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!  We sure did here!  I had all of my family together and I loved every minute of the craziness of being all together!

So, guess what happens this week?  On Wednesday, January 4th, the new Occasions catalog goes live and we can order from it!   AND... don't forget about Sale-a-Bration!  It also starts on Wednesday.  What is Sale-a-Bration?  Well, it's the best time of the Stampin' Up! year because it means you can earn FREE products!  For every $50 you spend from January 4- March 31, you get to select a FREE product from the Sale-a-Bration brochure!  Woo hoo!!

Here's a look at a card featuring one suite of new products in the Occasions Catalog.  It's called the Party Animal Suite.

Balloon Adventures

The paper in the background is from the Party Animal Designer Series Paper and the package is made using the Party Animal Washi Tape.  I love washi tape, but often forget to use it!  I also used the Balloon Pop-Up Thinlits Dies for the bow on top of the package.  The stamped sentiment is from the Balloon Adventures stamp set.

And, by the way, this is one of the 12 cards you'll get to make if you attend my Birthday Card Stamp-a-Stack.  Don't live close by?  I also have a class in the mail option for those of you in the US.
